Kingswood Village – VE Day opening hours

  • Kingswood Village Store – 01737 362989
    Although KVS is normally closed on Bank Holidays, in response to requests from many of its customers Kartik and Sonal have decided to open until noon on Friday 8 May. Newspapers, Post Office and Store as usual.
  • Kingswood Wines – 01737 360264‬‬‬
    Normal opening hours of 12 noon until 7pm will continue. Off-licence and grocery items with home delivery by arrangement.
  • Waterhouse Café – 01737 350444
    Normal opening hours of 8.30am until 2pm will continue. Fresh produce and grocery items, plus café menu for take-aways and home deliveries.
  • No 12 Restaurant – 01737 351157
    Normal opening hours of 12 noon until 2pm and 6pm until 9pm for take-aways and home deliveries will continue.
  • New Khyber – 01737 352813
    Normal opening hours of 5.30pm until 11pm for take-aways and home deliveries will continue.

And if you would like some nostalgia for your 75th VE Day Celebration, Lisa Davies from Kingswood’s best-loved band, Atlantis, has recorded some old favourites with her colleague Mike and put them on YouTube. They’ve done this mainly to provide entertainment for residents confined to care homes, but you might like to listen too and share with anyone you think would enjoy singing along.
