Covid-19 Protocol for Voting at the Polling Station in the Local Elections

The Local Elections take place on Thursday 6th May and the Kingswood Polling Station in the village hall will be open as usual, with social distancing measures in place.

Do not vote in person if you have symptoms of COVID-19: high temperature, a new or continuous cough, or change or loss of taste and smell. If in doubt, have a PCR Test.

You can get an emergency proxy vote at short notice if you need to self-isolate before or even up to 5pm on election day.

At the polling station: wear a mask, use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival and as you leave, keep your two-metre distance from others, and take your own pencil. Show your polling card to the polling clerk – you must not pass your card to them. Full guidance is available here.

Kind regards
