Local Artist Alison Saunders is taking part again this year and will be joined by photographer Chris Lemon, Jacqueline O’Sullivan and the highly-acclaimed Colette Clegg.
Alison is an award-winning artist producing works in a wide variety of mediums.
This year Alison was approached to decorate a hog for the Haslemere Hog Feast which is currently on display along with 60 other hogs in Haslemere town centre.
Chris produces works which take a different look at urban and transport environments. His style has been recognised by a major UK rail network for which subsequent commissions and publications have followed. Expanding on these themes, he has produced visually exciting pieces for this year’s open studio.
Jacqueline studied at the Norfolk Institute of Art and Design where she discovered the joy of creating works which captures the beauty and simplicity of a particular moment in time. Using a mixture of medium her work reflexes beautifully the fluidity and movement of her fresh contemporary style.
Colette is a highly-acclaimed award winning Irish artist based in the UK. Inspired by life and the world around her, she strives to make the ordinary, extraordinary using resonant colours, bold handling of paint and freedom of interpretation.
