Tadworth and Walton Overseas Aid Trust received lovely photos of children appreciating their gift from a school for refugees from Myanmar which was helped to start giving their 150 pupils a school lunch. They had never previously been able to provide a lunch so they used part of TWOAT’s donation to acquire cooking and eating utensils and the rest for lunches. Unfortunately the funds TWOAT had available will only cover one lunch per week per child but TWOAT hopes that its supporters might help them to do more – it would cost about £8 per child to provide them with one extra lunch a week throughout the next school year.
