The Hall is run by the charity, the Kingswood Village Community Association and provides a centre for local groups, charities, businesses and individuals to use for meetings, concerts, plays, exercise sessions and parties.

The facilities offered are:

Main Hall (10.4m long x 7.6m wide)

  • seats up to 120 concert-style
  • seats up to 72 at tables
  • raised stage: 7.6m wide x 1.65m deep in front of arch/curtains


Kitchen with:

  • gas cooker and hob
  • microwave oven
  • hot water urn
  • crockery
  • cutlery
  • refrigerator (which must be left empty and clean)

Ladies and Gents Toilets

Car Park for up to 15 cars

For a small additional charge, Hall Users may also hire:

An audio-visual system enabling (after initial training session)

  • music from CD, DVD, memory pen, smart phone, tablet or laptop
  • PowerPoint and equivalent presentations from laptops
  • slideshows from CD, DVD, memory pen, smart phone, tablet or laptop
  • films from DVDs
  • use of microphones

By special arrangement only, Hall Users who are putting on performances may be given permission to use the stage area behind the proscenium arch and the dressing room.

In order to keep Hall hire charges as low as possible, the Hall is hired on the basis that the Hall User will clean the Hall after use and leave the Hall and its equipment in the same condition and layout as it was at the start of their session.

The period for which the Hall is hired must include all of the time required by the User to set up and prepare for their session and to clear up afterwards.
