Changes are on the horizon for the Kingswood Village Community Association (KVCA). Later this year, we will be transitioning into a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). This transformation marks not only a significant milestone in our organisation’s evolution, but also an opportunity to strengthen and modernise the way the KVCA runs.

Notice is given that a Special General Meeting of Kingswood Village Community Association (a charity registered in England with registered number 275187) will be held on Tuesday, 28th October, 2025, at 6 pm at Kingswood Village Hall, Waterhouse Lane, Kingswood KT20 6EB for the following purpose:
Resolution
To consider and, if thought fit, pass the following resolution:
THAT subject to the obtaining of any consents or approvals required by the Charity Commission for England and Wales this charity, the Kingswood Village Community Association (a charity registered in England with registered number 275187) (the “KVCA”), be dissolved and that all the assets and liabilities of KVCA be transferred to the Kingswood Village Community Association 2025 (a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered in England with registered number 1212249 (the “KVCA 2025”) the trustees of which are all or some of the trustees of the KVCA and THAT the trustees of the KVCA and the KVCA 2025 be authorised and directed to take any action or procedure or enter into any document required, advisable, appropriate or necessary to be taken in connection with the dissolution of the KVCA and the transfer of the assets and liabilities of the KVCA to the KVCA 2025.
