The Thirteen Society 26/27 programme continues on the 27th October at 8.00 pm with a talk on ‘Concorde’by Graham Nice in the Village Hall. Doors will open at 7.30 to allow time for registration.
Graham was always keen on aviation and cars. As a wannabe pilot he has had many great flying experiences, including the Harvard, Spitfire and of course, Concord!
Since retiring he spends a great deal of time as a Volunteer Steward at Brooklands, and is one of a small team who run the British Airways Concorde flight simulator, for visitor experiences, which means he flies ‘Concorde’
Graham’s talk will cover the research and development of Concorde, interesting facts about the Aircraft, the crash in 2000 and why Concorde stopped flying. Finally, a glimpse into what could potentially come next.
A donation will be made to Brooklands Museum Registered Charity.
