On Sunday 3rd June the Jubilee celebrations started outdoors, as nine gardens in Kingswood were opened for us to visit.
Despite the weather, lots people enjoyed the wide variety of styles of gardens, and many of us met others from the village for the first time over a discussion of each garden’s charms – and a glass of Pimms. There were so many gems hidden behind the hedges and gates, and it was generous of the owners to welcome us into them and let us enjoy them too.
