On Sunday 1st December, Kingswood was all lit up!

For the first time, Kingswood has its very own Christmas tree outside the village hall with festive lights along the parade of shops to the Kingswood Arms.
The tree is splendid and festooned with ribbons on which children from the village had decorated and written their wishes. Mischievous elves were on hand to give out bags of chocolate coins to the children.

We were very fortunate to welcome our MP, Rebecca Paul, to switch on the lights and award prizes to the children who had won the best decorated Christmas tree stars.

We celebrated with delicious mulled wine and mince pies.

Special thanks to all members of the KRA who attended, to the Committee members who helped with organising this event and to our Councillors for funding the tree and lights.

Three cheers to a new KRA Christmas tradition!
